Mazid Turmeric Powder is produced and processed from the finest Nizamabad turmeric in India. Turmeric releases its true flavor at temperatures above 130°C. Since it is impossible to reach this temperature in boiling water or during normal cooking, we roast the turmeric at Mazid — the secret behind the remarkable difference in color and taste of our turmeric.
For best results, turmeric should be sautéed at the beginning of cooking, before adding other ingredients. Turmeric is one of the most widely used spices in Iranian cuisine, added to various dishes and stews for both color and flavor.
